Event description

Description

At iCareHealth we have the privilege of working with Vic Rayner, Executive Director of the National Care Forum and the NCF Member community who’ve joined in on the discussions around technology and data.

Earlier this year, the NCF and KareInn ran a Roundtable with the theme, ‘How to Unlock the Potential of Data in Social Care.’ Vic summed up the event in her blog post ‘We know what is possible – so what do we need?

The answer to that question has evolved in to a new series of Roundtable events, 'Shaping the Role of Data in Social Care'. The key focus of these sessions will be to get the right people around the table to talk about the key issues impacting on social care.

Hosted by Vic Rayner and iCareHealth Director Peter Shergill, the three events will bring together suppliers, commissioners and providers in a unique opportunity to both capture and drive forward the agenda on:

  • Data standard requirements for social care – including a focus on what should be collected as well as how.
  • Interoperability between data sources and systems.
  • Integration of data across health and social care – filling in the gaps in care pathways.

Agenda:

11:00am – 11:30: Welcome reception

11:30pm – 1.30pm: Roundtable presentation and discussions

1.30pm – 2.00pm: Lunch

2:00pm – 2:30pm: Workstreams

2:30pm – 3:00pm: Conclusions and next steps for Roundtable 2 in October 2017
