An introduction to India’s Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) – the largest Energy Services Company in the world

In anticipation of their India Forum on the 30th of June, the Green Infrastructure Investment Coalition (GIIC) would like to invite you to roundtable event with the largest Energy Services Company in the world, Energy Efficiency Services Company (EESL).

Operating under the Indian Ministry of Power, EESL is a joint venture of four National Public Sector Enterprises with an overall pipeline of projects worth approximately USD 2b.

EESL seeks to unlock the market of energy efficiency in India (estimated at USD 12b), through facilitation of market access and assisting private sector Energy Service Companies in replicating its successful Energy Services business model.

This scale of opportunity is already evident in their LED replacement programmes, across the domestic and street lighting sectors; the world’s largest without subsidy.

EESL are keen to expand their networks in key geographies outside India so that they can collaborate and invest in best practices in the energy efficiency segment.

To that end, this roundtable will allow EESL to present their experiences in the Indian Energy Services sector and open up a discussion about potential partnerships.
