Round Willow Basket Workshop

Spend a lovely creative day learning the craft of willow basketry. Whatever your ability, you will be able to weave a round basket whether a dimple beginner's Egg or Berry Basket, or a round fruit or bread basket with different weaves and a more intricate border.

Jilly Greig is a full time basket maker living and working in East Lothian, and enjoys spreading the word about basket weaving. Coma along and start your willow journey!

The venue has free parking both in the village hall grounds, and in the adjacent street. There is very limited public transport to East Saltoun, so cars are essential. Willow can be messy so don't wear your best clothes, and bring a pack lunch.

Please also bring an old sheet or large towel to wrap your willow in and keep it damp.
