About this event

Film & Media • Other

Our Focus Forward and Inclusive Lens projects kick off with a joint opening event.

Sarah Leigh, of Inclusivity Films, will welcome director Owen Tooth and writer Amanda Graham to talk about their routes into the screen industry.

Find out more about Sarah, Owen, Amanda in the 'Lineup' section above.

Who is this for?

It is aimed at

  • Deaf, disabled and/or neurodivergent (DDN) screen production talent and
  • Commissioners or makers of screen content, whether you are a production company, broadcaster, museum, agency, etc
  • Organisations that are trying to improve wellbeing in the screen and wider cultural sectors.

What will happen?

Owen and Amanda will be asked: what advice would you give to your less experienced younger self?

We hope that, whilst not sugarcoating the challenges, guests will leave the event feeling motivated and equipped with some practical know-how as they continue to follow or support careers in screen.

There are more details of what to expect in the 'Agenda' above.
