About this event

  • 2 hours

Please note that this event is available to Warwickshire parents ONLY

Being a parent is exciting and rewarding but there are also times when children behave in ways that are a challenge for us. This 2-hour workshop looks at some reasons why children behave the way they do and offers insight and strategies to help guide their behaviour.

This workshop is for parents/carers of children of all ages. I t will focus on:

· How and why Routines support children’s development

· How to introduce a routine and use them effectively.

· Routines and healthy sleep patterns

· Build an awareness of positive parenting and how to implement this in day to day life

· Looking after our selves as parents and carers

This is a general overview and if further support and advice is identified, contacts and referral pathways will be available at the end of the workshop.

Even though the workshop is being held in a school setting, parents whose children attend other settings are also welcome.

We regret that we are unable to offer childcare for parents to attend the programme and unable to accommodate children in the room due to limited numbers.
