A Forgotten Landscape’s artist in residence Deborah Aguirre Jones is running a free art group which will move round venues and locations of the Lower Severn Vale Levels, exploring places and making art together through memories, mapping, looking and listening, finding things, changing things and imagining the future. The range of materials and techniques will include sculpting with willow withies, land art, beach art and sound recording.
Artworks, ideas and images created in the group will contribute towards designs for new benches and a permanent artwork in the project area.
Sessions will be fortnightly (Please note – sessions will not always run at the same venue or at the same time so keep in touch/watch the website for details as they are announced).
Come to one or come to many. Old hands, dabblers, novices and the just curious all welcome.
