I've not done this type of fitness class before. Is it appropriate for me?

Yes! This class is for all levels of fitness and exercises can be adapted to all abilities. It's a welcoming and safe environment to learn something new.

Is the class wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, no. This class takes place upstairs. There is no lift available. However there is a Sit Fit class on Friday mornings at 12pm which is perfectly accessible.

Why is this class free?

All Rowheath Active classes are free because we want everyone to have the chance to  experience community and encourage participation in a holistic approach to movement. This class is a ministry of Rowheath Pavilion Church.  Any donations are welcome for cost of room hire only.

Question 4

Why is this a female only class?

Accepted Answer

We aim to deliver this class to females only to keep the space a safe, secure space. Our lead instructor is male but always supported by the presence of a female Rowheath Active instructor.

Question 5

Can young girls join in?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Girls aged 14 years upwards are welcome to attend without a parent present. Young girls under the age of 14 are required to be accompanied by a female parent/caregiver.
