Home-grown celebrity gardener Roy Lancaster will be returning to his roots to talk about his new book ‘Roy Lancaster: My Life With Plants’ at Bolton Central Library and Museum on Saturday 30 September.

Bolton-born Roy began his career in horticulture in Bolton parks’ department.

He is a regular panellist on BBC Radio 4’s Gardeners’ Question Time and has taken part in a number of TV programmes including Gardeners’ World.

Roy be giving an insight into his new book at the talk in September, and there will be an opportunity to buy copies of his book and get it signed.

There will be free fun garden and animal themed activities for the whole family from 11am to 3pm.

More details on Roy’s book talk and the family activities will be released closer to the time.
