Description

The Royal Air Force Police (RAFP) celebrate their formation 100 years ago (01 April 1918) on Saturday 19th May 2018 with a day of demonstrations, sport, music and fun filled activities for all the family.

The RAFP Male and Female Rugby Teams (The 'Flying Pigs') shall be taking on the Metropolitan Police for the 'Hart-Halam' Trophy. The RAFP Military Working Dog Demonstration Team shall be showcasing their skills with an action packed show.

A packed day with live music, entertainment for kids and adults, demonstrations, trade, military & emergency service stands, food and drink available & much more, as well as raising money for the Service Charities.

I would like my child to be a mascot for the rugby?

For serving and former members of the Royal Air Force Police we are pleased to invite their dependants to be a mascots for the rugby matches.. Please email rafpolice100@outlook.com for further information and to register your interest.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No minimum age to enter event (we do ask that children are accompanied by an adut), the event is a fun filled family day for all ages to enjoy. Please bring a form of identification with your ticket.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

On-Site Car Parking is available for the duration of the event price TBC (payable on the day) or pre order for a discounted rate (coming soon). Follow the signs for parking as you approach Aylesbury RFC. Nearest Train Stations Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville & Wendover with good service to London and beyond. Local Bus Service available.

What can I bring into the event?

The following articles must not be brought within the Ground: knives, fireworks, smoke canisters, air-horns, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, bottles, glass vessels, cans, poles and any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety.
Any article that might be used as a weapon, be deemed to be offensive or abusive, or compromise public safety, will be confiscated and or reported to the police. Bottles, glass vessels, cans, flasks, dangerous or hazardous items, illegal substances, explosives or ammunition; fireworks, knives, blades or other weapons, firearms. Laser devices, smoke canisters, signs or items with corporate or inappropriate branding, unauthorised fliers, spray paint, transmitting devices, professional cameras & recording devices (without a permit - please email rafpolice100@outlook.com for permissions & press), illegal merchandise items, illegal charity collection utensils, , darts, alcohol and animals (except service dogs & guide dogs).Any person in possession of such items may be refused entry to the Ground.This list is not exhaustive and subject to change. Any questions please email rafpolice100@outlook.com. Food & Drink are on sale on-site but feel free to bring a picnic for you and the family.

We are constantly adding new attractions to the. event, if you would like to perform / showcase your talents at our event please email rafpolice100@outlook.com with what you have to offer!

Can I bring my dog with me?

Unfortunatly due the number of Military Working Dogs present at the event; spectators will not be permittted entry to the event with private dogs. If you would like to bring a Service Dog (hearing, seeing etc), please email rafpolice100@outlook.com befor booking your tickets.

Do Children need tickets?

Yes, for Security, Health & Safety reasons everyone attending RAFP100Fest including children of any age will need to have a registered ticket.
