Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh - Tickets From 1st of December
Event Information
About this Event
This festive season, the Garden will remain open to you for local outdoor recreation and exercise. From 26 December, all buildings will be closed in line with Level 4 restrictions and only a takeaway catering service will be available.
All visits require a time slot ticket, booked in advance. Please follow the latest Scottish Government guidance for travel and meeting people from outside your household.
The health and safety of our visitors and staff remains a top priority. With this in mind, we are implementing new measures to help protect you. That is why we have introduced time slot tickets to help us minimise queuing and facilitate physical distancing.
- Before you visit, please make sure that you are following the current Scottish Government restrictions on travel between local authority areas, and on meeting others. There should be no more than six adults in your group from a maximum of two different households.
- Everyone including members, carers, children and babies must book a time slot ticket. Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult
- Bookings can be made for up to a maximum of six tickets.
- Your chosen time slot/entry time will be displayed on the top left corner of your ticket(s) which will be attached to your confirmation email. Please have your tickets ready for scanning upon entry.
- To reduce queuing, please do not arrive before your chosen time slot. You have up to 45 minutes after your selected time slot to gain entry. Once you're inside the garden, you can stay as long as you like.
- Our arrangements for visitors have temporarily changed: See OUR FAQs at https://www.rbge.org.uk/visitingandstayingsafe

Support Us - safeguard our future
As a charity, we need your support more than ever before. Whilst the Garden was closed, we lost a large proportion of vital income which supports our international research and conservation work. By making a donation, your support can help us to protect the world of plants. Thank you
We hope you enjoy your visit.
