Royal College of Nursing Centenary nursing seminar

To celebrate the Royal College of Nursing's 100th anniversary in 2016, this special free learning event has been organised for RCN members in the East Midlands.
Delegates will receive an exclusive RCN Centenary pin badge and a certificate of attendance, meaning that if they are a registered nurse or midwife, their attendance will count towards the Continuing Professional Development requirement of the NMC's revalidation process.
The programme is:
10.30am - Light refreshments
11am - Welcome: Cecilia Anim, President of the RCN
11.15am - Nursing through the ages: Sir Stephen Moss, a former hospital chief nurse and non-executive director of Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Health Education England
11.45am - The NMC process: Felicity Crockford, Solicitor, RCN Legal Services
12.30pm - NMC revalidation: Jennifer Doohan, Professional Development Officer, RCN East Midlands
12.45pm - Working with a diverse community: Dr Sheila Marriott, Regional Director, RCN East Midlands
1.15pm - Close
