The Adam Smith Business School is delighted to host the Annual Public Lecture of the Royal Economic Society.
The RES Annual Public Lecture provides an opportunity for young people to discover economics through a talk from an internationally renowned economist. The Annual Public Lecture was established in 2001 and will be held in Scotland this year for the first time. The lecture is primarily aimed at senior secondary school students, but all are welcome to attend.
Professor Jagjit Chadha is Director of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR). He has served as advisor to Her Majesty’s Treasury, the Bank of England as well as many other central banks.
