Join us for a prestigious black-tie dinner in celebration of 2017 Royal Gold Medal recipient, internationally acclaimed architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha as part of Royal Gold Medal Week 2017, sponsored by Arper.
The evening will begin with a Champagne Taittinger reception, followed by a formal three course dinner. After the dinner, Mendes da Rocha will be formally presented with the Royal Gold Medal by RIBA President Jane Duncan, and his nominators will respond personally to his prolific body of work.
Given in recognition of a lifetime's work, the Royal Gold Medal is approved personally by Her Majesty The Queen and is given to a person or group of people who have had a significant influence either directly or indirectly on the advancement of architecture.
Tickets are £282 (including VAT), of which £50 will be donated directly to the RIBA Education Fund to support students struggling with financial hardship. By supporting the Royal Gold Medal Dinner, you can help us try to ensure all students - no matter what their background or circumstances - are able to continue their architectural education.
