Whether you are leaving school, looking for an apprenticeship, want to gain a degree or are interested in part-time/short courses, find out more at our open days.

The Open Day at Royal Leamington Spa College is a great way for prospective students to see the real thing before making a decision on where to study. You can talk to our expert tutors within your chosen subject area, look around the buildings and see our facilities and also get advice and guidance from our Careers Team.

We only require bookings for the prospective student; however guests are welcome to come along too.

When are the next open days held?

We have open days per campus spread throughout the academic year. To see when our next open days are please visit our website: www.wcg.ac.uk/openevent

Can I apply for a course at an open day?

Yes you can! The admissions team will be available to help you with your application once you’ve decided on your course.

Can I take a college tour?

You’ll be able to explore all the college facilities during your visit.

Do I need to book a place at an Open Day?

Yes please! Prospective students need to book a ticket but guests can come along without booking.

Can guests attend?

You’re welcome to bring guests to visit the college with you. We only require bookings for the prospective student.

What happens at an Open Day?

On arrival, you will be greeted by a member of our Events Team, who will sign you in. You’ll then be able to visit your chosen subject areas, talk with tutors, attend welcome talks and explore the facilities at your leisure. Please see the Agenda for time and locations for talks.

Can I attend more than one Open Day?

Yes! You are welcome to book your place at multiple college open days. This means that if you are interested in courses at different colleges, we would encourage you to book your place and attend all those that are relevant to you.

Can I speak with multiple course tutors?

You will have the option to speak to our course tutors and discuss the content and grades required to enrol. Our specialist teams will also be on hand to offer advice on a variety of matters including bursaries, course options, employment and transport to college.

I am returning to education, can I get careers guidance?

At WCG we welcome applications from learners of all ages and backgrounds, including those with relevant employment experience who don't have formal academic qualifications. Our team can advise you at the events, or you can get in touch with our Careers Advice and Guidance Team at advice@wcg.ac.uk.
