Event description
Congratulations on getting a ballot place in the Royal Parks Half Marathon!

About this event

Only complete this form if you already have a ballot place and would like to run for Maggie's. If you don't have a ballot place please complete our Royal Parks Half charity place form.

By choosing to run for Maggie's with your own place you won't be set a fundraising target, but it would be great if you could raise as much as you can for Maggie's to support more people with cancer.

The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon takes place each October, starting and finishing in the stunning Hyde Park. Runners take part in the 13.1 mile route through Central London, taking in the spectacular sites of the capital and the beautiful Royal Parks.

Join Team Maggie's by completing this form and we will provide you with all of the support you will need to cross the finishing line including:

  • A Maggie's running vest
  • A fundraising pack
  • Training and support guides
  • Plenty of support to get you across the finish line
  • A huge cheer on the day from one of our cheer points

How your fundraising will help

£140 supports our exercise classes to help build and maintain strength and confidence whilst living with Cancer.

£50 means someone just diagnosed with cancer can receive immediate advice and support from a Cancer Support Specialist.

£40 could help someone diagnosed with cancer focus on their treatment and less on the struggle of supporting their family with our expert benefits advisors

If you have any questions please call us on 0300 123 1801 or email events@maggiescentres.org .

Organiser Maggie's

Organiser of Royal Parks Half Marathon 2021 - Own place registration form

Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks.

Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

Our centres are places to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.

The first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 26 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
