Royal United Accessible Parking Engagement
Fri 15 July 2016, 13:30 – 15:00 BST
Nimbus is pleased to have been asked by Royal United Hospitals Bath to help them engage with disabled people on upcoming changes to their car parking.
There will be a number of changes to the car parking which have been designed to improve accessibility and availability overall. The two most significant changes will be the introduction of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and an overall increase in capacity.
Nimbus, a social enterprise made up of disabled people, has been brought in to advise the Trust on making sure that none of the changes have a disproportionate impact on disabled people. We feel very strongly that to do that it is important to have open conversations about the changes that are being made and for local disabled people to be involved in developing any policies which impact them.
The event will be an opportunity to hear more from the Trust about the Car Parking changes and then to be involved in discussions which will ultimatly contribute to the Trusts Access Statement and Car Parking Policy.
Lunch will be provided from 1.30 with the event starting at 2pm. Please get in touch to confirm attendence and any access requirements.
If you'd like to book over the phone please call 01332 404023.
