Please note; the talk is the only part of the day that is ticketed, the rest of the event, hosted by the wonderful Royston Creative Heritage Team is free to access!

Come see the Roystonhill Spire and explore the creative heritage of the Royston community!

Hosted at the Roystonhill Spire and Park and Roystonhill Community Hub, there will be opportunity to wander around the park’s mosaics and heritage panels, listen to a local history talk and take part in creative activities to build a living archive of the Royston area.

What’s on:

- Grab a wee bite to eat and see the Royston Creative Heritage Exhibition with artwork created by over 150 community members!

- At 2:30pm, join historian and RDT Community Development Worker, Andy Cuthbertson as they delve into the history of The Garngad, taking you from the dark ages to the slum clearances. (Pre-Booking required via. this Eventbrite)

- Take part in family friendly creative heritage activities for all ages.

- Pick up a copy of the brand-new comic book created in collaboration with Royston Youth Action and Magic Torch comics.

- Have a look at what has been collected so far for the Royston Community Archive and have to opportunity to add your own photos with the Garngad Photo Lab.
