The SCQF Partnership is pleased to be able to offer a workshop on the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and credit transfer specifically for staff in colleges, universities and other organisations who receive and assess RPL claims from learners. This workshop explores current thinking on RPL and credit transfer and aims to clarify practice around these topics. The workshop is a mix of interactive activities and focuses on examining some existing examples of policies and procedures regarding RPL to identify examples of best practice that attendees might consider using in their own organisation. Attendees will also gain an understanding of the types of RPL and the workshop aims to provide some suggestions for setting up systems and implementing procedures in their own organisation.
