'Bookworms' regular Monthly Meeting. HYBRID Tonight Mike Longhurst will introduce the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004)

About this event

Mike lost internet just after 6pm - Virgin Media say it should be back by 3am!

His talk has been rescheduled to 27th July - more details to follow.

Tonight Mike Longhurst will introduce the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004)

Originator of the "Decisive Moment", founder of Magnum, a veritable French institution - is there anything left to know about Henri Cartier-Bresson, one of the most written about photographers in the world? While covering what the books do tell us, Mike Longhurst will delve into some of what they don't, drawing on his own research. He'll discuss a couple of books, including, "Le Grand Jeu”, which contains all 385 of what HCB selected in 1973 as his "Master Collection”.
