Description

This course aims to deepen understanding of rights respecting values and global citizenship and explore examples of good practice across the four standards. It is ideal for strategic leads in schools that have achieved the second stage of the Award, Silver: Rights Aware, and are working towards the final stage of the Award, Gold: Rights Respecting. It would be most beneficial to have two representatives from each school.

Organised by

Welcome to the training booking system for Unicef UK's Rights Respecting Schools Award (RRSA).

RRSA puts children’s rights at the heart of schools in the UK. Using the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) as our guide, we are working with more UK schools than almost any other organisation. Over 1.5 million children in the UK go to a Rights Respecting School and up to 5,000 schools up and down the country are working through the Award. Schools work with us on a journey to become fully Rights Respecting.

The Award recognises a school’s achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child into practice within the school and beyond.
