Training course to support schools after achieving the third stage of the award - Gold: Rights Respecting

About this event

Having achieved Gold, this two hour training is all about maintaining rights respecting journey and keeping your practice strong.

This course aims to support you in maintaining a strong focus on rights and sustaining excellent rights-based practice after achieving Gold. We will facilitate the sharing of good practice among participants. It is suitable for RRSA coordinators in schools that have achieved the Gold: Rights Respecting. The session will also explain how to prepare for a Reaccreditation visit and what to expect from the process.

If your Gold accreditation was several years ago or more recent but practice has lapsed please speak with your regional Professional Adviser to discuss other training options.

Course Objectives:

1. To support continued engagement with RRSA Gold.

2. To explore strategies to sustain a Child Rights Based Approach.

3. To share good practice at Gold and build partnerships.

4. To be confident in the reaccreditation process.

IMPORTANT: Please re-read and bring a copy of your last Gold accreditation report to the event.
