RSA and Athenaeum Liverpool: Plotting a Course for Maritime Heritage
Wed 7 December 2016, 18:00 – 20:00 GMT
The Athenaeum Liverpool and RSA Fellows invite you to a joint event to share experiences of cultural knowledge and community assets.
During this early evening networking and information sharing session, local marine expert, Fellow of the RSA, and Athenaeum Proprietor Steven Jones will speak about the transformation of the Liverpool Docks.
Liverpool is a “shipping city”, a port which developed, as many do, in parallel with its dock system. This inaugural RSA and Athenaeum talk will explore the restoration and role of historic ships in tourism and in setting the scene for Liverpool’s past and future trade as the docks expand once more.
This free event is open to RSA Fellows and Athenaeum Proprietors. Spaces are limited: please register to attend by following the "Register" link above.
If you have any questions, please contact Pamela Ball FRSA: firstname.lastname@example.org.
