Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence for a Better Society
Join us for the second symposium of RSA's Big Data Society as we explore the good stories of using machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to transform society.
Who is this for?
Those working in the public and private sector that want to contribute and understand more of how data can benefit society, those that are using data to build products and services for the benefit of society, and those that have ideas, contacts, influence, inventions, or technology that they want to share in an open forum.
Part 1: Introduction from Neil Staunton FRSA*
Introduction to specifically the working of machine learning and artificial intelligence in 1. healthcare and 2. education, which will be outcomes from two recent ground-breaking projects:
1. Dina Radenkovic, CEO and founder of Watch Out Diabetes and currently building the "AI Diabetic Nurse" product.
2. David Wall, MD of InSoft on the "Artificial Intelligent Teachers Assistant".
Q&A with Karol Ussher, Head of Google Technology Partners.
Part 2: Ideas
Groups will be created by the host and any idea - simple to complex - for how we could conceptually use Artificial Intelligence for transforming society will be discussed.
Best ideas from within teams are shared and discussed with the rest of the room.
Part 3: Chatting, Food & Drinks.
How can we get to know people better and take one step forward putting these ideas into action?
We do hope you can join in the discussion. The event is open to both Fellows and non-Fellows of the RSA, but please do book your place at the top of this page so we know that you're coming. Any questions, contact Neil Staunton FRSA:firstname.lastname@example.org
