Description

Can culture transform Birmingham and the Black Country?

Join the April meetup of the RSA Black Country and Birmingham Network to debate the role of arts and culture in the region.

With the public purse strings tighter than ever, we'll be discussing what part the arts and culture should play in the development of the region. Are they an optional extra or a necessary pre-requisite to growth? Is there such a thing as a West Midlands culture?

On the panel:

All are welcome and it is free to attend - just book your place at the top of the page. If you have any questions, please contact the Network Lead John Stapleton FRSA: john@1000trades.org.uk.

The Network meets to stimulate fun and intelligent debate and action about the big challenges facing our world today, not least here in Birmingham and the Black Country itself.

Please note this venue is on the first floor and only accessible via stairs. From May, the venue used for RSA Black Country and Birmingham Network events will be fully accessible. To let us know of any other access requirements or reasonable adjustments you have, please email the RSA team: networks@rsa.org.uk.

The RSA Fellowship is a network of Fellows. By agreeing to participate in this event you agree to the sharing of your name and organisation with other delegates at the event so that they can contact you through MyRSA, our online portal. If you do not wish your name and organisation to be shared, please contact us.
