Description
Is CSR dying?
20 November 2013
16:30 - 19:00 (doors open at 16:00)
Faculty of Arts, University of Brighton
Tax avoidance, financial incompetence, entrenched inequality, food contamination, unchallenged bonuses for the few… What happened?
Wasn’t CSR supposed to create more responsible businesses? Was it all just a marketing ploy - or, was there simply not enough CSR?
Does CSR have a future?
Aimed at the sceptical as well as advocates, this event will bring together leaders who are interested in shaping the future of business. The discussion will be followed by a highly interactive session, and a chance to make and renew contacts.
Panellists:
- Jason Kitcat, Leader of BHCC
- Nikki Gatenby, MD Propellernet
- Graham Precey, Head of CSR, Legal and General
- Pete Burden, Conscious Business, UK
- Alan Boldon, Deputy Head of School of Arts, Design and Media, University of Brighton
This event is organized by Brighton and Hove RSA with the support of the University of Brighton, Conscious Business U.K, Legal and General, Propellernet Ltd and Brighton and Hove City Council.
