Speakers: Adam Wilkinson FRSA and Dr Deborah Mays FRSA
Join us at NLS on 18 October, with guest speakers Adam Wilkinson FRSA and Dr Deborah Mays FRSA.
Urban area management falls in the space between proactive planning and reactive heritage preservation - the conservation of objects within the urban realm for the benefit of future generations. Competing priorities require the protection of all interests, not least societal well-being and to avoid Subtopia.
In an event designed to fall within Scotland’s Year of Innovation, Architecture and Design, RSA Fellows Adam Wilkinson (CEO, Edinburgh World Heritage) and Dr Deborah Mays (CEO, The Heritage Place) will explore why urban places need protection, and what we are looking after and for whom. Fuller speaker biographies will be issued at the event.
Any questions, please email Mrs Ann Packard FRSA HonFRIAS, MCICH Network chairmam: email@example.com.
Delegates should note that the RSA is managing the registrations and will hold data provided in full accordance with the Data Protection Act. Photographs may be taken at the event; anybody wishing exclusion should please indicate this on arrival.
