“The natural world is a powerful generator of childhood curiosity and those early sparks of imagination are often at the heart of our life-long creativity.” Andrew Grant (Grant Associates) and Penny Hay (House of Imagination and Bath Spa University)

Forest of Imagination is a partnership between Grant Associates, House of Imagination, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Bath Spa University, working alongside the creative, cultural and educational community to re-imagine a familiar space to highlight the importance of nature and imagination in all of our lives, in the face of the ecological crisis. This year’s Forest will take place at Entry Hill in the city of Bath, showcasing sculpture installations, art work and interactive activities.

The RSA is the royal society for arts, manufactures and commerce – a global network of changemakers enabling people, places and the planet to flourish in harmony. The RSA’s Playful Green Planet champions nature-based play as important for children’s development and wellbeing as well as their connection and care for nature. Playful Green Planet transforms green spaces into ecologically thriving outdoor playrooms and classrooms that grow children’s (0-11) ecological citizenship.
