Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 5 October at 13 Elliott’s Place, N1 8HX – the home of Islington Giving (next to Cass Arts).
Among the RSA Fellows in Islington there are many creative passionate people looking for others to help them – with an existing project or a new idea. There are also lots of others keen to help but not sure how best to use their talents.
How to bring these together? A time and talents speed dating evening.
Do come and join us on 5 October, for an opportunity to meet people interested in solving the same problems, or creating the same opportunities, as you. We’ll meet from 6.30pm.
And if you have a space that could be the venue for a future meeting, please contact me on the email below.
The event is free but please book your place at the top of this page so we know you will be joining us.
If you have any questions, contact Valerie Iles FRSA: email@example.com
Other ways to get involved...
• A small group is meeting to reflect on aspects of the housing market in Islington. If you would like to join it, please email Eva Lloyd FRSA at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact her on Slack.
• If you are interested in scoping a mentoring scheme in which Fellows offer their skills and experience to other Islington residents, Annie Hedge FRSA email@example.com is the person to contact, again by email or Slack.
• Everyone is invited to attend a meeting that involves people living and working in Islington and to write up their reflections on what seem to be priorities for action or reflection. See the Slack channel set up for this.
On signing up for this event you will automatically be added to the mailing list for the Islington Network. If you do not wish to receive future mailings from this network please let us know.
