Mental Health Matters
Thursday 13 October
13:15 (for 13:30 start) - 14:30
Engine Shed, Bristol
Part of our series of lunchtime livestreams of lectures from the RSA into the Junction at the Engine Shed in Bristol.
This lecture will celebrate World Mental Health Day 2016, focusing on children and young people.
Depending on who you ask, our current generation of youngsters are either ‘snowflakes’ in need of greater resilience, or the product of the economic, political and social insecurity that has come to define our times, creating new pressures which have helped to drive up rates of mental distress. What implications does this have for policy making in the UK, and how can we deliver on government commitments to improve mental health care for children and young people?
Bring along your lunch and join us to watch this livestream.
More information about the lecture can be found on our website.
