The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Open Stages programme embraces and celebrates amateur theatre, re-forging its bond with the world of professional theatre.
Following the RSC’s hugely successful tour of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the company will be returning to Norwich to run a day of workshops. The object of these sessions will be to share some of the work we did, say thank you to the companies that auditioned and offer some more take away skills and techniques you can add to your own work.
There will be two workshops; voice/ text and movement both led by RSC practitioners. The sessions will run twice during the day so you will have the opportunity to participate in both workshops.
Unfortunately for logistical reasons the RSC can only offer a limited number of places per company but hopefully those that participate can share what they discover when they return to their company.
The workshops will take place in Stage Two, Norwich Theatre Royal’s new education and learning centre. Please bring your own packed lunch.
