Are you a researcher with entrepreneurial ambition?

The Royal Society of Edinburgh is now accepting applications for the Enterprise Fellowship Programme which aims to assist researchers like you to develop entrepreneurial skills and provide support as you take forward a new business venture. The programme operates across Scotland and is available to academic researchers who wish to develop a spin-out business around a science or technology based idea.

This information session will:

  • Explain the background and purpose of the fellowships

  • Outline the support provided: 12 months of salary support; hosting support (fellows are usually hosted by an academic institution); business training; business mentors; access to professional/entrepreneurial networks; business development funding of up to £10,000

  • Guide you through the application process

  • Explain the training that will be provided to successful applicants

The Enterprise Fellowship Workshop is brought to you by Enterprise Campus West and will take place on Wednesday 30th March 2016, 2 – 3pm.

The workshop should last no longer than an hour and will be held at the University of Strathclyde, Enterprise Hub, Level 6 – Room 6.13, Graham Hills Building, 50 Richmond Street, Glasgow G1 1XP. Please see here for venue map.
