Strategic Renewal in Developing Markets: Preparing for the Post-Pandemic Pivot
How can businesses in developing markets prepare to adapt to post-pandemic opportunities? The ongoing global pandemic has accelerated the need for companies to reinvent themselves, with a little margin for error. Although this presents challenges for many businesses worldwide, the realities of developing markets contexts – and small island developing states in particular – make the upcoming pivot an even more daunting task for companies in Curaçao and neighbouring nations. In this alumni engagement talk, Dr Heyden will talk you through the latest research insights from around the world so you discover best practices on change readiness and strategic avenues for renewing into a post-pandemic world.
About the speaker:
Dr Mariano (Pitòsh) Heyden is an associate professor of strategy and international business at Monash Business School in Australia. He holds a PhD in strategy from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. His research interests are in the intersection of strategic leadership, corporate governance, and strategic renewal.
