Following our successful Investment Summit in July where 8 local tech firms pitched to investors, the Reading Tech Cluster is now organising a ‘reverse pitch’.
This time the investors are on stage. Hear them pitch.
Firms will cover their investment criteria and process, sector focus, and the metrics and KPIs they look for. They’ll explain how they differ from each other in stage, profile and needs. They’ll even share tips for tech firms to be more successful when pitching for investment.
You’ll hear from a cross section of leading angel, private equity, venture capital and corporate finance investors. Confirmed speakers are YFM, Maven, FSE Group, Business Growth Fund, LDC, Henley Business Angels and Barclays.
Each speaker gets 10 mins with 5 mins for audience Q&A. Then there's time for coffee and networking.
Event organiser and co-founder of the RTC, Dr Keith Arundale explains: "This is an excellent opportunity for local tech businesses who are seeking equity or debt finance to drive growth to hear first-hand from our local investors what they need from you in a winning investment pitch."
So if you are a founder or executive at a Reading or Thames Valley-based tech firm join us.
Important note: this event is kept small on purpose. Only 40 seats for tech firm leaders to maximise discussion and networking potential. That means only one person per firm.
It is also only open to RTC members – so please register your interest in becoming a member first before signing up for the event here.
