Vision2020: The Horizon Network will hold its next RTO Members’ event, dedicated to university & research and technology organisation members, at TU Delft, Netherlands on 09-10 October 2017.

The aim of this event is to discuss Vision 2020's activities and future developments in light of the next Work Programme 2018-2020 with a specific focus on Industrial Leadership. Dr Peter Dröll, Head of Innovation and Industrial Technologies at the European Commission, will be delivering a key note address on this theme and several representatives of key industry will also attend the event and present their interests and strategies in the wake of the 2018-2020 Work Programme. It will be a great opportunity for each representative to meet with other Vision2020 RTO members and to share information and best practices in order to establish potential collaborations for the next set of calls.

Please note that, the venue has a capacity of 70 people, consequently the attendance will be limited to 1 representative per member institution, the second representative will be included in the waiting list and subject to availability.

TRAVEL INFORMATION TO TU Delft:

From Amsterdam Schipol Airport:

There are direct train connections to Delft Train Station every 30 minutes. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes and cost 10€. There are also connections from the Airport to Delft via Leiden. The journey takes 45 minutes aswell and will cost 10€ but you will have to change train in Leiden (however transfer is on the same platform).

From Rotterdam Airport:

There are direct buses from Rotterdam Airport to Delft (Line 40). The journey costs 2€ and last approximately 20-25 minutes. You can also opt for a taxi. The journey will last between 15 and 20 minutes.

From Amsterdam Centraal Station:

There are direct train connections to Delft Train Station every 30 minutes, the journey takes approximately an hour and will cost 13€. Other itineraries are available via Schiphol Airport and Leiden, the journey will take an hour aswell and cost will remain at 13€ (transfer in Schiphol or Leiden is on the same platform).

From Rotterdam Centraal Station:

There are trains to Delft every 10 minutes. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes to Delft Train Station and cost around 3€. You can also take a taxi and the journey should last no longer than 30 minutes.
