About the Speaker:
Dr. Ian Gatt PhD
Head of Physiotherapy | Inspire Institute of Sport
Ian has been a physiotherapist with over 25 years of experience in elite sports, including supporting athletes at multiple Olympics and Commonwealth Games. He is a worldwide recognised Upper Limb Injury Specialist, supporting various sporting organisations. Ian is also the cutman with team Anthony Joshua and other professional boxers. Further, he is a leader in sports enabling health and performance strategies within the UK High Performance System.
Ian has a passion for teaching, delivering international educational workshops, webinars, at conferences, and on university programmes. He contributes to research, having also completed a PhD in Upper Limb Biomechanics and is currently undertaking an MBA on Executive Leadership. Ian aims to consistently educate both professionals and the general public, using various social media platforms.
