Recently, I started a Men’s Circle in Ibiza. What I learned in these physical meetup sessions is that it’s essential for men to find a trusted space to share their deepest feelings, emotions and thoughts.

Men are used/expected to keep up appearances, to perform and be efficient in work, to be strong all the time, to compete endlessly, to find a solution to every problem, to have a dream relationship and/or family, a perfect fatherhood...

And there is no real space where they can share with other men what is really going on inside themselves in this constant pressure environment.

In order to move forward and bring real change in this world, we need to reinvent ourselves first, start with human innovation as the basis of everything, respecting people and the planet.

About Men's Circles

Society has been pushing men towards a subtle, unique type of emotional isolation. Men don’t feel comfortable talking about their lives or how they feel about things that are happening. Even guys that are self-aware and more open-minded have trouble sharing in this way.

When a guy faces the unavoidable adversities of life, they realize that they don’t have many healthy outlets. This creates a lot of pressure so the guys eventually burn out, blow up or meltdown. I've been there, like many of you have and/or are going through right now.

Even the strongest men out there hit tough times and struggle to cope. You would never know because they keep it private, but it’s real. The stats show that anxiety, depression, overwhelm, paralysis and self-doubt plague some of our best men out there.

Instead of going that route, I'm offering this space where we can meet weekly online in private sessions where you won’t be scrutinised for being honest, emotional or supportive with one another.

Once registered, the day of the session, you will receive a Zoom link to attend this circle from anywhere.

My intention

My intention is to support men in their growth and create a safe space online where men of all ages can share their stories and feelings they have, and no other place or people to share with. To be of emotional support for those who need it. As well, we intend to learn from each other and encourage to co-create together.

When a man starts sharing something deeply personal, it doesn’t matter that it’s an online men’s group. This men’s circle is engaging, moving and highly impactful.

Wellbeing for Men attending Men's Circles

In general, men’s peer support groups help people grow faster and experience more wellbeing.

Men’s circles lead to the following (from MensGroup.com) :

- Feel Happier: people just feel better when they have the opportunity to talk through things.

- Saving time & energy: the fastest way to progress is to ask someone who’s already done it. The slowest? Going it alone, man.

- Take the weight off your shoulders: vent in a safe space so that you don’t explode elsewhere.

- See more success:  you will become more successful with other guys at your back to guide you and offer advice.

- A better parent and partner: it’s not just you that benefits from a men’s circle!

- Life-long friendships:  These guys will have your back. Friendships happen naturally.

- Motivation: being around other guys who are inspired to grow and are doing it is super motivating.

- More emotionally intelligent:  learn more about your emotions and how to work better with them.

- Meaning: being there for your men’s circle mates just feels good!

Rules

As of now, there are only 2 rules:

1. No women allowed during the sessions

2. What happens in the Circle stays in the Circle (we don’t share anything with outsiders that’s been shared in the Circle to keep a safe space for anyone sharing sensitive life stories or experiences).

Donation

I decided to offer some of my time, every week, to serve to this Men's Circle and the sharing of stories with other men online.

This Men’s Circle is donation-based. Everyone is free to donate the amount of money he is capable to contribute in exchange for the value he receives from attending this Circle.

There is really no price on the positive type of healing this circle can do to men 😊
