Rugby Yarn Bombers – Knitting

Rugby Yarn Bombers – Knitting

Overview

A session for people to learn how to knit, mentor novice knitters or just generally work on the yarn bombing project alongside others.

Rugby Library is excited to be supporting the new Rugby Yarn Bombers in their goal of turning the town into a Wonderland next year in their Alice in Wonderland inspired project with imaginative installations including the Mad Tea Party and the Queens Croquet Ground.

Every other Tuesday yarn crafters will meet in the library to work on the project, with people there to mentor novices or beginners to knitting. So if you always wanted to learn the craft come along! Likewise if you are experienced and could support others we'd love to have you share your knowledge.

We have a small amount of hooks and yarn for you to practice on whilst you're here but it would be great if you could bring your own.

You can register to take part in the project here at www.wildandfree.net/yarnbomb2025
