Frequently asked questions

Is the vessel accessible for wheelchair users and/or those with disabilities?

The MV Pearl of London is a wheelchair friendly vessel, with a disabled toilet that has full wheelchair access and panic alarm installed. If you have any specific needs or questions, please reach out to Team Rum 'N' Bass (at least 24 hours prior to the event).

Why do we need to arrive at 6:15pm if the boat party doesn't start until 7pm?

We have allowed 30 minutes for checking-in and boarding attendees, which is aligned with our access to the pier. The Vessel Management reserves the right to finalise boarding at 6:45pm in preparation to sail at 7pm. We do not have any control over the timing and the boat will not wait for latecomers

Do you offer refunds if I change my mind, am unable to attend or miss the boat?

Rum 'N' Bass does not offer refunds. However, we will be happy to transfer your ticket to another attendee, up to 48 hours prior to the event. Please email admin@rumnbass.com your Eventbrite ticket from the same email address used to book, with the full name, email + phone number of the new attendee

Is there parking nearby?

Yes, there are various parking options around the South Bank, including the National Theatre carpark (which closes at midnight). We recommend securing parking in advance or on the day (subject to to availability) via www.yourparkingspace.co.uk

Will there be food on the boat?

Food will not be served on the boat and outside food is not permitted onboard. However, we recommend arriving to the area early, if you'd like to eat before we depart the pier, as there are many food vendors nearby.
