Who we are
Run Kids Run is a social impact initiative which organises fun runs for primary schools with the aim of promoting health and fitness, bringing communities together and fundraising for schools.
Since 2020, we have raised over £500k across various events in Islington, Camden, Southwark, Newham and Battersea. We mobilise each school community to fundraise for a specific improvement project and bring local corporate sponsors to support their fundraising efforts.
Returning to Battersea Park
After last year's success, we are returning to Battersea Park on Sunday 28th April 2 - 4pm at the Battersea Park Millennium Track.
Calling all primary school children and their families!
10 primary schools from Wandsworth, Lambeth and Westminster will be sending their runners and we are inviting all other primary school aged children from nursery to year 6 and their parents to join the running challenge and help us collect more funds for the participating schools.
The day's schedule
It will be an afternoon of fun and fitness with warm-ups and games, medals and snacks for all participants.
Runners will complete laps of the athletics track: 2.5 laps (1km) for nursery and reception children and 5 laps (2km) for years 1-6.
Races will be staggered to avoid congestion at the start line:
2:00pm - Registration opens. Collect your running bib and wristband at the Run Kids Run desk.
2:15pm - Welcome and health and safety briefing
2:25pm - Collective warm-up
2:30pm - Nursery/reception 1km race (with parents)
2:45pm - Years 1&2 2km race
3:00pm - Years 3&4 2km race
3:15pm - Years 5&6 2km race
3:30pm - Event closes

Registering and donating
To take part, simply register by purchasing a ticket for each runner in your group. The registration fee is your fundraising contribution. 100% will be passed on to the schools to improve the education experience of their pupils.
