Run for the Hills (train for the trails!)

Get running super fit and in shape with our hill training course.
Whether you want to improve your running technique, fitness, strength or lay the foundations for running some trail running events, this course is for you.
An eight week course that focuses entirely on helping you to build strength and stamina on the hills, and techniques for running down hills without fear.
If you're bored of pounding the pavements and need to add some va-va-voom to your running routine, join us for this course that will help to improve your running style, mental focus and your enjoyment.
It is also perfectly timed for those who would like to join the Girls Run the World community taking part in the BlueBell 10km or 10 mile trail race that takes place on April 23rd. Anyone who does our course will be provided with a 10% discount code to the race.
The course will involve a mixture of training taking in short and longer intervals on hills, team work, stair work and more. You can expect to feel super fit by the end. And if it's dry and warm enough, we'll even end with a bit of yoga for runners in the park.
Taught by the founder of GRTW, Rachael, who has been coaching women for the last eight years from total beginners up to marathon runners and beyond. She is also a qualfied yoga teacher.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There are numerous buses that drop at Preston Circus and it is a short walk or run to the park from there. Alternatively, there is plentiful parking around the park on The Ride or surrounding roads. Payment is via the parking app.
