Run4Life 5k to Get You Round Bristol 10k East Central Bristol Running Cours...

Are you about to finish a Couch to 5k/ 0 to 35 minutes course and are keen to attempt the the Bristol 10k on 7th May? - Warning it won't be easy!
Can you jog for 35 minutes without stopping but want to double your distance in less than 5 weeks? (Please note if you 'race 5ks', then your local running club would suit you much better).
Running is great, but meeting other people and being able to share your newfound hobby is even better!!!
- Sessions start at 7.30pm, giving you time to get back from work/ put the kids to bed first.
- Aged 16 plus, so feel free to bring your teenager and do the course together!!
- Starts Thursday 6th April, running until Thursday 4th May (9 weeks). The course will run through the Easter School holidays, so if you are away, just take your trainers and the plan with you.
The 1 hour sessions will start with a warm-up and some mobilisation to get you ready and then a mixture of different runs over the weeks to help you get fitter and stronger, ending with a cool down and a stretch. At the end of the course the group may choose to take part in the Bristol 10k together. Feel free to ask your leader any questions at any time. You will be provided with a running plan, and will need to aim to do 2 more runs a week to help you get to your goal. We will also be recommending a run/ walk strategy to get you round the 10k as you are doubling your distance in such a short time.
