Have you recently completed a Couch 2 5k Running Course but would like the benefit of a social group to carry on running?
Can you jog for 30 minutes without stopping but would like it to feel easier, for you to feel stronger and for you to get a little faster? (Please note if you 'race 5ks', then your local running club would suit you much better).
Running is great, but meeting other people and being able to share your newfound hobby is even better!!!
- Sessions start at 7.30pm so time to get back from work or settle the kids first.
- Aged 16 plus, so feel free to bring your teenager and do the course together!!
- Starts Tuesday 13th September, running until Tuesday 8th November (9 weeks).
The 1 hour sessions will start with a warm-up and some mobilisation to get you ready and then a mixture of different runs over the weeks to help you get fitter and stronger, ending with a cool down and a stretch. At the end of the course the group may choose to take part in a local 5k or organise a social run together. Feel free to ask your leader any questions at any time. You will be provided with a running plan, and will need to aim to do 2 more runs a week to help you get to your goal.
If you have a holiday planned, don't worry just take your trainers and the plan and you can do this on holiday and keep up with the group.

This course is FREE to anyone who has not taken part in any of our running courses previously. If you have taken part in a Run4Life Couch 2 5k/ Improvers course then we are asking for people to pay the leader £1 a session.
This course is co-ordinated by Bristol City Council , we are able to offer it FREE to new people (Bristol residents) and subsidised (£1) to previous course participants ! ;-)
