Event Details

This course is open to anyone who can run for 30 minutes and would like to increase the distance they can run or how far they can run in 30-35 minutes. We’ll meet as a group and focus on technique and skills, with two other “homework” sessions a week for continuous runs – you can meet as a group to do those, too! We encourage as much chat as possible during the continuous runs.

The aim will be to help you start or keep up your regular running routine, run with friends and to get faster, fitter and stronger. It is the ideal session for anyone who has recently completed a Couch to 5k/0 to 30 minutes course, returning to running or want to focus on reducing their 5K time.

Sessions run from 6.45 to 7.30pm

Course runs for 10 weeks in two 5-week blocks from 27th September and 1st November.

Open to anyone aged 16 plus.

The sessions are written and led by an England Athletics qualified Coach in Running Fitness. They have not been written by Run4Life.

This course will be £10 for the first 5 weeks (27th September) and £10 for the second 5 weeks (1st November) - please bring the payment on your first session to give to the leader.

These sessions are co-ordinated by Bristol City Council’s Run4Life initiative and includes support through a closed Facebook group.
