Runcorn Heroes in the Library

Hazlehurst in the Library – Exploring Runcorn’s Heroes and Heroines

Hazlehurst Studios will be taking up residency in Halton Lea Library to celebrate Runcorn’s heroes and heroines. Situated on High Street in Runcorn, Hazlehurst Studios is home to 10 professional resident artists who run an art and culture hub for the community, supported by their fantastic volunteers.

Over 3 months, five of Hazlehurst’s artists will be working in the library running workshops, creating their own artwork and producing a final exhibition for the project, all funded by Arts Council England. Come along and speak to the artists about their work and art practices, learn some new skills at the workshops and find out more about the heroes and heroines in Runcorn.
