Description
What you Need to Know:

Distance: 10km

Run Level: Progressive*
A progressive trailrun starting at Milngavie Train Station heading north onto sections of the Clyde Coastal Path, West Highland Way and lesser-known trails in Mugdock Country Park. We will move as a group and will be back in under the hour, leaving you energised and ready to start the day.
This run is aimed at:

competent trail runners
-
those confident running 10km of trails with no/minimal stops
-
those wanting a fast 10km to start the day
-
those comfortable with a pace of around 8.30-9.30mins/mile
What to wear/bring

Head torches are mandatory on all RunMORNINGS to cover a dark start - no head torch, no run. We will enforce this to ensure runner and group safety

Trailrunning shoes - recommended. There are sections which can be very muddy and slippy with some steep sections, depending on the route

Hat/buff, gloves - recommended in colder weather

Waterproof jacket - optional to suit weather on the day

Food & water - this is optional, but you may want to carry some run food or a water bottle/bladder.

Mobile phone - in case of emergency

The Important Small Print
The terms and conditions below are to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone participating in this TrailFest run.
- The format of this TrailFest run is based on a led, group run with regular stopping to re-group, take in the view and be social. Note; this is a run, not a hike.
- TrailFest reserve the right to refuse your participation on this run should it be deemed by TrailFest that you are not fit and/or healthy enough to complete the full route with the group as outlined above, or if you do not have the mandatory kit required for this run.
- All of our runs are for adult runners only: no under 18s and no dogs.
