Frequently asked questions

I’ve run 10K before, but never in a race setting. Am I still considered a ‘first timer’?

Yes! Our First Timer wave is designed specifically for runners tackling their first official 10K race, regardless of whether you’ve hit the distance during training. You’ll be part of a supportive, celebratory wave made up of fellow first-time 10K racers, with a wide range of expected finish times.

How do I get my Runna First to Fast 10K race bib?

Your race bib will be posted to your address within the 2 weeks prior to the event. Please make sure that the address is correct on your registration form at least 4 weeks before the event as we are unable to re-send any race bibs once they have been posted.

Is there a deadline for receiving my race bib in the post?

Yes, this deadline is 11AM on THURSDAY 14th AUGUST. For all sign ups after this date, you must collect your race bib from the bib collection stand in the Race Village from 5.30pm on Thursday 4th September.

Can you post my race bib internationally?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer international shipping. If you are attending from outside the UK, please collect your bib on the day.

What time does the Runna First to Fast 10K start and where?

The Runna First to Fast 10K will take place at Battersea Park. Information about your arrival and start time will be emailed to you 2 weeks before the event. Each runner will be given a specific time slot for arrival, which must be followed.

What is the 10K course?

The 10K course is four loops around Battersea Park. The course is fast and flat, perfect for PB chasers and those doing their first ever 10K! We will have pacers on course to help you reach your target time. You can check out the route here: https://www.strava.com/routes/3375498859198337818

Will there be pacers?

Yes, we will have a range of pacers to help you meet your race goal in all waves. Interested in being a pacer at this event? Please reach out to events@runna.com and we'll get back to you!

How can I find out my finish time?

Race results will be available via the tracking link on the First to Fast website after the event. Link here: https://www.runna.com/events/first-to-fast

How do I edit my registration details?

If you need to update your registration details, please do this on eventbrite or contact events@runna.com if you require further assistance.

How do I get to the Runna First to Fast 10K?

To reach Battersea Park using public transport, please use one of the following stations: Battersea Park Overground Station, Queenstown Road Overground Station and Battersea Power Station Underground Station. Rosary Gate entrance to Battersea Park is your best access to the race village.

Will there be medals?

Yes, we will have bespoke medals available for all runners to collect as you cross the finish line to celebrate and remember this achievement.

Will there be finisher t shirts available?

Yes, there are finisher t shirts available for all runners if you opt in during the sign up process and select your shirt size. All t shirts can be collected from the race village on the day of the race. No t shirts will be posted (only your race bib will be posted pre race).

Can I opt out of having a race t shirt?

Having listened to some participant feedback, we are delighted to offer an "opt out" of the finisher t shirt and instead, you can opt in to plant a tree.

Can I run with a pram or pets?

For safety reasons, prams and pets are not permitted on the racecourse.

Will there be first aid at the event?

Yes, we will have a medical team stationed in the Race Village.

Will toilets be available?

There will be toilet facilities positioned in the Race Village located by Battersea Park Bandstand. There will be no toilets on the course.

What should I do if my race bib doesn't arrive in the post?

We will have spare bibs to collect from 6pm in the Race Village on Thursday 4th September.
