About this event

  • 2 hours

This special session in recognition of World Mental Health Day sees self-confessed reformed-workaholic, Emily Bridges, talk you through her struggles with mental and physical health while setting up her business. She will guide you through her experience of changing her mindset from partaking in 'hustle-till-you-drop' culture and burnout, to finding more of a balance in life, all while building and running two pubs, The Malt and Mardle in Norwich and The Porters Arms in Aylsham.

Emily will also share practical tips that have helped her to take better care of her mental and physical wellbeing while working. From micro habits that can be implemented straight away to more impactful changes in perspective.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A with an opportunity to chat to Emily about any relating questions or experiences. Pre-booking is essential and the session is highly recommended for any business owner with an interest in wellbeing
