About this event

Business • Non Profit

By the end of the course, you will have a thorough understanding of what EAL is, what facilities are needed, the required behaviour and temperament of EAL horses, how to structure EAL sessions, how to constitute a CIC, how to apply for funding and what policies and procedures need to be in place.

There are lots of hands-on sessions to allow you to see and experience EAL activities. The workshop is designed for a small group of participants, allowing sufficient time for everyone to experience all the activities both as a facilitator and a client.

During the workshop we’ll provide you with examples of our policies, procedures, funding applications and other useful documents.

The workshop is delivered by IdEAL CEO, Mike Burrow, who oversees the overall direction of IdEAL and is responsible for fundraising, finance, HR and developing and implementing strategies and policies to ensure that IdEAL benefits the local community. Mike also holds qualifications in Coaching, Hypnotherapy and Neuro linguistic Programming (NLP).
