Description

Running a great workshop isn't rocket science. There are some simple techniques and skills that will help turn a boring, forgetful workshop into one that's empowering and memorable.

This weekend course is for grassroots organisers and activsts to develop the skills and confidence to design and facilitate engaging, participatory and fun workshops. From guerilla gardening to writing a press release, from mass catering to working in affinity groups, if you have a skill that social movements need, come to this workshop to learn how to share it.

In the workshop you will get the chance to:

- Develop skills and confidence to facilitate good learning
- Understand how people learn, and design a workshop plan
- Prepare and facilitate a short workshop session and receive constructive feedback from other participants & the workshop facilitators.

And for loads of free resources on running workshops, taking creative action, facilitating meetings and more, check out our website www.seedsforchange.org.uk

Debt, trade, pollution, biodiversity, resource depletion, water scarcity, food security, poverty, climate change… The number of big issues just keeps on growing, threatening our children’s futures and the lives of the most vulnerable people on the planet.

That’s why we’re here. Tidal is a campaigning group that works to support, coordinate and grow global activism in Leeds.
