Event description

Description

Dr Rupert Sheldrake, writing as both a scientist and a spiritual explorer, looks at seven spiritual practices that are personally transformative and have scientifically measurable effects. He combines the latest scientific research with his extensive knowledge of mystical traditions around the world to show how we may tune into more-than-human realms of consciousness through psychedelics, such as ayahuasca. Ex-Harvard Fellow Sheldrake was Director of the Trinity College Cambridge project which investigated unexplained human and animal abilities. He bridges science and spirituality uniquely, and is included in a Zurich think tank's list of the most important Global Thinkers, alongside Gladwell, Zizek, and Daniel Dennett. His new book is informed by a year spent at an Indian ashram. 'Sheldrake will be seen as a prophet'- Sunday Times
